The individual holding the Advanced Hearing Aid Professional (AHAP) certificate and credential is a licensed hearing healthcare professional who has completed the AHAP course offered by the International Hearing Society and met the passing standard of the assessments. The certificate holder has demonstrated proficiency in a wide array of topics relevant to hearing healthcare and hearing aids.

The certificate holder completed 71 hours of virtual and in-person learning and assessment across 11 modules:
