Are you up to speed with how wireless technology is being used in hearing instruments?

In utilizing wireless technologies in hearing instruments, manufacturers have historically been challenged with the choice of prioritizing audiological performance or patient convenience. Join expert presenter, Eric Branda, AuD, Director of Product Management for Sivantos, for an in-depth look at how wireless technology is being used in modern hearing instruments.

Wireless technologies have some limitations with instrument-to-instrument communication. Hearing instruments using Near Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI) on the other hand require a relay for communication with mobile phones and other devices utilizing Bluetooth, but NFMI is very effective for instrument-to-instrument communication. This webinar will discuss the combination of these different wireless technologies, thus offering a solution addressing both convenience and performance in difficult listening situations.

  • Identify different types of wireless technology used in modern hearing instruments
  • Discuss benefits of various wireless technologies being used in modern hearing instruments
  • Recognize limitations of various wireless technologies being used in modern hearing instruments
