Welcome to the Distance Learning for Professionals in Hearing Health Sciences Course. We hope you are excited about your journey to becoming a hearing aid specialist and that this course, combined with hands-on training, will help you be successful.

To get the most out of this course, it is recommended that you:

1. Read the Textbook chapter
2. Read the corresponding Workbook lesson(s)
   1. Complete the exercise(s) for each lesson
   2. Take the chapter test after the last lesson corresponding with that chapter
3. Discuss the content learned with your trainer/mentor
4. Incorporate that knowledge into on-the-job training and skill development
5. Repeat for each chapter

To pass the course, you must complete all 17 chapter tests and pass the final examination with a score of 72% or higher. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon completing the course.
