In this presentation, I will discuss the evolving definition of audiologic/aural rehabilitation and the hurdles that may prevent us from realizing its full potential in our practices. I will review digital tools as an example of an effective and personalized way to create treatment plans for our patients. I will discuss candidacy and integration from a Patient centered care perspective. As a practice owner and cochlear implant user utilizing Digital Rehabilitation tools in my practice, I will share my leadership philosophy, especially as it pertains to gaining “buy-in” from staff during implementation. I will discuss how it fits into a plan to differentiate your practice from the competition while addressing the rehabilitative needs of your patients.
